My experience as a Mechanical Engineering student has been a mixed but mostly positive one. The college provides decent infrastructure including well-equipped labs. The faculty are qualified, helpful, and most subjects are taught with real-life examples, though some teachers follow a very theoretical approach. The syllabus covers a wide range of core and elective subjects, and includes internships and projects in the final year, which are useful for industry exposure. Semester exams can be tough if you don’t study consistently, but with regular attendance and internal marks, it’s manageable. Hostel life is okay — rooms are basic but clean, Wi-Fi is decent, and the food is average. Sports and extracurriculars are encouraged, with good facilities for football, cricket, and indoor games. Medical help is available on campus in case of emergencies. Pros: Good labs, helpful teachers, decent placement, and a supportive environment for learning.
