A famous national admission exam, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is held in India once a year. This test has great significance because it is a requirement for entrance to a number of management programs that are provided by nationally recognized universities. XLRI (Xavier School of Management) coordinates the XAT on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes).
Sunday, January 8, 2024 is the scheduled date of XAT 2024.The deadline for XAT 2024 enrollment is November 30, 2023. For candidates to be eligible to take the XAT exam in 2024, their forms must be completed before the deadline. The XAT exam fee has gone up by INR 100 this year. The sum that must be paid is INR 2,100/-. The XAT is run by XLRI on behalf of XAMI. In order to choose the best applicants for management education, XLRI has been conducting the XAT across the country for more than 72 years. More than 160 institutes use the XAT score for admissions.

XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
To complete the XAT application process, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria outlined by XLRI:
- Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible to apply for XAT 2024. Additionally, foreign nationals can seek admission based on their GMAT scores.
- Graduation: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent of three years from a recognized university, regardless of the discipline.
- Minimum Marks: No specific minimum aggregate marks in graduation are required to apply for the XAT 2024 exam.
- Age: The XAT 2024 exam does not impose an upper age limit criterion.
- Final Year Students: Aspiring candidates in their final year can apply, provided they finish their bachelor’s degree by June 2022 and subsequently submit their scores to their respective colleges.
- Number of Attempts: There are no restrictions on the number of times a student can take the XAT exam.

XAT 2024 Application Process:
XAT exam 2024 registration process commenced on July 15, 2023. Candidates can fill out the XAT 2024 application form in online at xatonline.in by November 30, 2023. XAT 2024 Registration can be done till 30th November 2023. Candidates are able register for the exam through online mode only.

On December 20, 2023, the official website will release the XAT exam admit card online. Marking Scheme-
- For every correct response to the XAT, one mark will be given.
- For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be subtracted.
- If there are more than eight unanswered questions, 0.10 points will be deducted.
- The General Knowledge (GK) portion will not be marked negatively.
- The General Knowledge component scores will not be taken into account when determining the XAT score.

XAT 2024 Result:
On January 31, 2024, XLRI Jamshedpur will make the XAT 2024 result available online. Applicants can use their User ID and DOB to log in to the official website to view their XAT result 2024. xatonline.in will offer XAT results for download. Before March 31, 2024, candidates can download their XAT scorecard. XAT exam scorecard will include details such as the candidate's marks, overall and sectional percentile along with the status of whether the candidate has cleared the minimum XAT cutoff or not.
