Important Instructions
Before appearing for IIFT 2024 candidates must know that there are around 110 questions in the question paper. The test is very much similar to speed + accuracy basis test. You need to prepare separately for IIFT as The Institute of Foreign Trade is one of the top 10 B-schools in India.
- Candidate Divide time accordingly for each section so that you can get at least 8-10 minutes for every section. The easiest section will increase your chances to score more marks.
- Verbal Ability is simpler. If this portion is merged with Reading Comprehension. Emphasize more on the RC portion as it is much scoring. Don’t attempt questions which you are not sure about.
- The quantitative aptitudes are more or less easier to a standard level. So start solving the problems from easy to hard.
- Data Interpretation is assumed to be tough. Just attempt 2 out of the 4 questions accordingly and opt out of the portion.
- Logical Reasoning is another simple and scoring portion where you should attempt more questions.
- In the case of General Awareness, the questions will cover more current affairs. The cutoff is expected to be around 2-3 marks. So work is not recommended for this portion at all. Attempt 6-8 questions accurately if you want to clear round 1.
- You should make a habit of taking mock tests once or twice every week. This will facilitate you in becoming familiar with the pattern and the topics where you are weak and strengthen it.
